Rendezvous Ski Trails sits right outside the town of West Yellowstone, offering over 35 kilometers of groomed cross-country ski trails in the Gallatin National Forest adjacent to the Continental Divide, and near Yellowstone National Park. These gently rolling trails lead the skier though lodgepole pine stands and open meadows.

At 6,800 feet, Rendezvous gets snow that comes early and stays late. It’s perfect for high altitude training year round. Keep your eyes out for wildlife along the trail, such as elk, moose, and bear. But do not bring your dogs, or your snowmobiles.

There’s also a 22-lane biathlon range, recently renovated for your self-serving pleasure. To use the trails from December 1st to March 31st, day passes are required and cost for $8.00. Season passes run around $40, and if you get the whole fam-damnly involved, family season passes are $75.

Rendezvous is great for intermediate cross-country skiers. Out of the 35 kilometers of trail, 2.2 kilometers are easy, 23 kilometers are more difficult, and 8.8 kilometers are most difficult. You can check grooming updates here.
