Re: “County signals possible end to Dunrovin Ranch dispute

I just read what might/hopefully/thankfully be a victory for the Millers and Dunrovin Ranch. I just want to pay tribute to Erika Fredrickson for her nice article and SuzAnne and Sterling Miller, the ranch and all those "pretty horses;" they have been such a great source of support, over the years, for my own creative efforts and fundraisers for cancer patients. Dunrovin hosted the premiere of The Montana Monologs in 2007 that raised $6,000. for the then, Guardian Angels Foundation, and later, hosted the Midwinter Showcase in 2010 that featured my comedy, My Ex Husband's Visit and The Lost Montana Monolog - that also raised money for cancer patients in Montana. A friend bought me a saddle pal membership at Dunrovin the first year I had cancer and after my surgery, I was able to ride and heal on a beautiful Tennessee Walker - Tiny. After a 2009 surgery I was able to again, ride out at Dunrovin, this time on a horse called Dandy. Both riding experience seasons were incredibly therapeutic and healing. The Dunrovin Ranch is not just a ranch. It is a place that has supported the arts and the people of Missoula County ever since its inception; rather than being applauded for their enlightened contributions to our community, the Millers have had to spend thousands of dollars to defend the ranch. Just think of what they could have accomplished for all of us if they hadn't been handicapped by these court battles? Thanks for hanging in there, SuzAnne and Sterling and thanks for all your support over the years! I love you guys! -- Wendy Woollett
