Admittedly Old Dylan's voice is ragged. It is easy to argue, for at least most of the past decade, that it has grown too ragged. But, I disagree with the author's asessment "Enough instances of off Key" . One thing Dylan has never been is Off Key. he may sing it ugly, but, he always hits the note. I don't recall ever hearing a single off pitch note from Dylan, having listened to everything he ever released and listening to hundreds of Bootlegs and seeing him live at least 50 times, I can't point to a single instance where he was off key. I've heard his blistered croak of a voice fail the song, I've heard his phrasing turn the corner to unintenionally comical "Clouds so swift.........ranfalinin" ( you aint going nowhere) but 've never heard him sing off key.
