Re: “Bear market

I totally agree that we cannot point the finger and blame China when we continue to allow trapping to continue in this country. Over 80 countries have banned trapping, and it is WAY past time that the good ole USA stands up and does the right thing. BAN trapping and stop sacrificing our wildlife to rich and wanna be rich Chinese!

Re: “Tester's howling error

While I certainly agree that Senator Tester has not served the good people of Montana well and as a wolf and wildlife advocate, I have spent months and months of my time and effort writing emails, faxes and calling trying to avert this we cannot blame Senator Tester alone. I live in California and have in the past ten days called the offices of Senator Barbara Boxer and Senator Dianne Feinstein as well as emailing their environmental aides that, as their constituent, I condemned this cowardly act, AND as my representation in the Senate, I expected them to take a stand for our wolves and keep them under the federal protection of the ESA. I also asked the question each time I called, was one Senator from Montana worth throwing away their many, many constituents who cares deeply about wolves and keeping them federally protected They voted yes on this, so I have my answer.

And then we come to the decisions of President Obama and his Secretary of the Interior, Ken Salazar, a Fifth Generation rancher. These two men have done NOTHING to protect wildlife, whether its wolves, bison and buffalo, or wild horses and burros. I have written to Obama and Salazar on numerous occasions as well as called to express my outrage at their continued decisions to let the Cattlemens Association, the NRA and the Hunters and Outfitters continually cause our wolves to be shot and our wild horses and burros rounded up, at great taxpayer expense and held in federal holding pens. Again, apparently my opinion as a taxpayer matters not in the least to them.

And then we have the other 81 senators who voted “yea” on this travesty of a “spending bill”. Many of whom “promised their support for the gray wolf” Senator Gillibrand of New York, Senator Schumer of New York, Senator Udall of Colorado, Senator Udall of New Mexico. I am done with President Obama AND the Democratic Party, every last one of them. I will not support a party that allowed, by consent of its President and members of House and Senate to behave in such a reckless, shameful and deceitful way concerning the Endangered Species Act and the protection of the Gray Wolf under that act.
