2013 Year in photos

Members of the Blackfeet Tribal Preservation Office hold a prayer circle around a freshly unearthed pile of bison bones that archeologists believe are from a 1,500-year-old bison processing operation. Contractors working for the Bureau of Indian Affairs discovered the bones in July while excavating a water line for a new $22 million dormitory for the BIA-operated Cut Bank Creek Boarding School. The tribe is now battling the BIA to preserve the historic site.
