Re: “A Ghost Story reimagines a haunting

Again thanks. This film is an underrated BEAUTY that will only be enhanced with time. Affleck's performance under the sheet tho it may be, is poignant beyond understanding and feeling. So nuanced it can only be matched by Mara's.I found it induced a tranced viewing.

Re: “Lady Macbeth: modern horror in period-drama clothing

I can always count on you Molly for a sensitive and singular review. Lovely reading of this film.

Re: “Playwright John Biguenet on how Hurricane Katrina changed his world

Thank you Mr. Biguenet, for your refusal to use quick "Katrina shorthand" and instead blaming the death and destruction on levee collapse. Using "Katrina shorthand" gives the culprits in the disaster, the US Army Corps of Engineers, a free pass. And also is unfair to the survivors.

Re: “First impressions of the new KettleHouse Amphitheater: It rocks.

Thank you for the venue review! I appreciate this because I am hesitant of shelling out my hard earned babysitting money to attend another show at a less than accommodating theater or amphitheater. The shuttle bus idea is fantastic. Your article didn't mention whether you can bring bring your own food, beverages and containers into the place. Was the power affected by the storm that rolled through?

Re: “First impressions of the new KettleHouse Amphitheater: It rocks.

Incredible venue and everything was so well orchestrated. Even the small touches, like not having to pay to prove you're 21, as the wristband distributor told patrons, were appreciated. Only negative was the new Bonner Logger beer, sold in cans, was lukewarm, especially disappointing on a 95-degree evening. But overall it was a unique and memorable concert experience. Can't wait for future visits.

Re: “Jan Dell and the Ranch Hands bring the country back to Missoula

it should be fun and interesting....it may be a big enough venue...given the day time and 4th of July weekend...we will think positive and the Sun will shine....

Re: “Jan Dell and the Ranch Hands bring the country back to Missoula

I think the Sunrise Saloon is too small to hold all the people that will attend this event. There'll be people standing outside listening to the music. Too bad they didn't plan it in some other venue.

McDermott lived in Normal, IL for a stint in his 20s. He grew up in Columbia, SC.

Did anyone notice the Cherry Pie billboards on Expressway and by the airport in Missoula?

Re: “Talking creamed corn, Agent Cooper and Twin Peaks after 25 years

I thought the tree thingy said it was "The Arm" transitioning and there's a second that is its black and evil doppelgnger. A replacement for the dwarf that we first met 25 years ago... did I just make that up in my head?

Re: “'Sand Castle' unpacks Operation Iraqi Futility

I am shocked that you would write something as uneducated as saying this movie could be "cathartic" and "comforting". You have no idea what really went on over there or how the troops that were there feel. Please be careful when you review something you have no real life knowledge of.

Re: “Home field advantage: the rich terrain of Caroline Keys' Mean to Stay

Perfectly Said, Erica! Was an amazing Show and so look forward to listening to both this album and Izaak Opatz new album. Probably will have to listen to them both on repeat to hear all the subtle complexities that you only get with musicians of this talent level. I agree with the comment above, Missoula is so lucky to have musicians of this caliber at local venues.
