Harvest time at Ten Spoon

Posted By on Thu, Oct 13, 2011 at 8:40 AM

Starting this morning, the Rattlesnake's Ten Spoon Vineyard and Winery is calling for volunteers to help bring in this year's grape harvest. In return for an hour or more of clipping — bring scissors or pruners, if you got 'em — you'll be treated to food and drinks, good company, and entertainment. That's not to mention the satisfaction of taking part in a community event that leads to award-winning organic wine.

Here's the announcement from Ten Spoon:

We'd like to invite you to come help us bring in our bountiful harvest this Thursday and Friday (Oct. 13 and 14). Join us for an hour or a day to help us pick the grapes and celebrate the harvest. Lunch, snacks, local brews, and our wine provided during and after the harvest . . . with a bonfire to follow, and music by Trent Atkins at 6 p.m. on Friday.
Bring scissors or pruners if you have them! We'll start at 9am and pick till sundown! Call 549-8703 with any questions. We look forward to seeing you!

Today's harvest begins at 9 a.m.
