On the lookout with the Buffalo Field Campaign

Posted By on Tue, Jul 12, 2011 at 5:00 PM

Jackson Hole Weekly assistant editor Benjamin R. Bombard spent three days with the Buffalo Field Campaign at the start of this year's hazing. His story and photos document the boots-on-the-ground work done by BFC volunteers and, while he's sympathetic to the cause, Bombard offers some skepticism about the group's efforts.

As an added bonus, one BFC volunteer recounts a wild Missoula street party gone wrong that, incidentally, I'd just recently heard about at Charlie's — something about a fire, firefighters, cops, pepper spray, and "a drunk vagabond who clambered into the fire truck." The vagabond was arrested.

Just another night in Missoula. Just another day with the BFC.
