Total Fest press

Posted By on Tue, Aug 25, 2009 at 5:45 PM

Over the years, Total Fest has slowly built up a reputation in pockets around the Northwest—Seattle and Portland, especially—and even in places on the East coast. The murmur has become a full-fledged buzz.

Last year, one of Seattle’s alt-weeklies, The Stranger, had a piece about the three-day independent music festival, mostly focusing on Seattle-based band Akimbo. This year, Jeff Kirby wrote about the entire festival in The Stranger’s blog, beginning with:

"Aw Total Fest, you’re the best. You know how to throw a real party — it’s Monday and I’m still spent. The people of Missoula put a lot of work into getting this festival together, and they really do a hell of a job."
