Forty-four million gallons of Blackfoot River water began flowing into the Milltown Reservoir’s newly created bypass channel on the morning of March 18. According to the Environmental Protection Agency, by late next week the Clark Fork will enter the channel, allowing it to completely bypass the reservoir’s contaminated sediments.
