Butterfly Herbs

The Catalyst
On exhibit through May, Passage: Photographs by Adair Oesterle. The artist’s work explores the landscapes of industry, labor and working people throughout the American West, from the San Francisco waterfront to Idaho and Montana. Farm ART SPACE
Grand Opening for this new gallery owned by local artist Wes Mills is Saturday, May 4, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. This month featuring tiny drawings by Taos, N.M. artist Marc Baseman and huge drawings by Dale Leys from Murray, Ky. 119 South Higgins Ave. next to the historic Wilma building. 721-0277.

The Historic Kalispell Mercantile (KM) Building
When Kalispell was founded in 1891 as a railroad town, the mercantile quickly followed. Built in 1892, the Kalispell Mercantile was the largest mercantile in northwestern Montana for decades. Visitors are welcome to browse the halls to see vintage finds and photos on display. 755–1111.

Hockaday Museum of Art
Currently on display: Abbrescia/Abbrescia, works by Sue Abbrescia (pottery) and Joe Abbrescia (painting); Naming the Place, Placing the Name, mixed media works by Jennifer Reifsneider; and The Photography of Mike Spence, black and white photos of Eastern Montana and Glacier Park.
