The Chief Looking Glass Fishing Access Site is a 13-acre campground on river-left of the Bitterroot River six and a half miles south of Lolo. Access is off US Highway 93 on Chief Looking Glass Road, which dead-ends at the campground. In addition to potable water and vault toilets, the site features a primitive hand-launch suitable for rafts, canoes, and other non-motorized boats.

From Chief Looking Glass, it's a 10-mile float downstream to Lolo's Riverside Park, with walk-in access better suited to canoes than to rafts. From upstream, it's a 12-mile float from Stevensville Crossing to Chief Looking Glass.

Camping fees are $12/night without a Montana fishing license, $7 with. Seven days is the maximum stay, and 28 feet is the maximum trailer length.
