Lolo Creek Steakhouse

Readers' Pick

Let’s face it, we’re a beefy state, from our rodeos to belt buckles to Tony Lamas. In other towns, the “best steak” designation would undoubtedly go to one of those high-end chain deals where they serve a lot of fruity martinis and artisanal mac-and-cheese. In Missoula, Indy readers prefer the humble charms of the Lolo Creek Steakhouse, where the placemats double as menus, listing sirloin, rib-eye, and New York cuts along with a few surf-and-turf plates with lobster, Alaska king crab, or halibut, and a few traditional sides (including potatoes, of course).
