The brutal treatment of bison by Montana's DOL is a national disgrace and hopefully public outcry will increase. But what else could we expect from an agency that refused to take a stand on game farms infested with bovine tuberculosis and (mad-cow) chronic wasting disease ? A quick buck for game farmers was more important.

Thankfully, the restraining order prevents this type of taxpayer-funded harassment of wild bison and grizzly bears...for now.

Also, I got this email Tuesday evening from a Buffalo Field Campaign activist who’s right there on the frontline witnessing Montana Department of Livestock’s every move in the bison hazing operations. This is what they witnessed Tuesday, the day after the helicopters were grounded by the court ruling.
