Looks like they've figured out another way to rip off the citizens of Missoula. Here's a thought...how about if our police officers would actually get out on patrol, get out of their vehicles and write parking tickets for all of the bozos in Missoula who think it's OK to park on the wrong side of the street! As it turns out, the fine for parking on the wrong side of the street is $20. Now then, if one police officer wrote five citations per day just for this offense, that would generate $100 per day in revenue. At that rate, that officer would be able to generate $500 per week. That's just one officer issuing citations for one offense! Say that 10 officers did the same, that looks like $5000 per week! Over the course of a year, that adds up to $260,000!
Now then, with that in mind consider the following:
The state of Colorado, in less than a year and a half after making marijuana legal for recreational use, there are many cities and counties that are actually showing a surplus of money! PEOPLE...WAKE UP AND GET REAL!!!
