I appreciate Mr. Lewis's accomplishments and respect him for them. Where I differ as a lifelong resident of this state is, that all people of this state have a right to it's waterways and streams. A man does not own the water or air that we need. It is a public resource. People think that because I have alot of money that I can buy anything. Montana, (rightly so.) told Mr. Lewis that he has the right to enjoy the bounties of Montana like the rest of it's residents and that some things are not for sale. And from what I got from this story was that Mr. Lewis was a good steward as long as it helped him, and would not have done anything to help the environment unless he owned it and could exclude others from it. That is not a good neighbor.
