Garoutte and his neighbors should be ecstatic to get this offer. If they do nothing to reclaim their land it will be back to normal in ten years. They aren't losing their land. They are receiving a ton of money for a temporary disruption of a narrow strip of land.
However, Keystone should not be built. Those high paying jobs should stay in Alberta and not be shipped to Texas.
I am curious as to where Lauren will find qualified tradespeople to build their Mods. I am a farm boy and I think very highly of farmers' ability to be jacks of all trades. I, too, am a jack of all trades but I am a master of one, pipefitter. I have worked in numerous modyards. Farmers don't belong there.
