I cannot thank you enough, Mr. VanDevelder, for writing this honest and insightful commentary filled with undeniable facts and scientific narrative. So often I ponder the thought of how grand it would be to have some semblance of true wilderness in the heart of this country that could then be a moral example of how to coexist with nature in its purest form, thereby abandoning the atrocious practices of torture and mutilation in the name of state management. What I find so appalling is that we spend that much time and money to disrupt current predator populations only to have them try to rebound so that we can waste those very same resources once again, with the debacle continuing on and on while these natural treasures... the very heart and soul of our country and humanity... pay the price of our indifference and intolerance. God save us from this chaos of our own making. And trust me, Mr. VanDevelder... it is no error to fight against profits with great injustice. If only the hate and resentment would flee, perhaps wisdom could be the law of the land. That is my prayer.
