Confusing Parvo for "dog flu"? And not knowing when a Parvo animal is so close to death that they "put $200 of fluid into them" and since when does IV fluid cost that much? Does this shelter person really know what they are talking about or do they have a Rainbow grudge and making stuff up? I would think if they had a clue the would know Parvo when they saw it and how to deal with it.
I have been gathering for 25 years now. Yes some dogs get lost or left at gatherings. A sad thing but the clean up crew tends to deal with it. But never in any other gathering have I heard about the kinds of numbers this person reports, and certainly not outside the gathering as we are accused of. If this were true would we not have heard about this from other shelters or in the FS reports from each year? In no other state have these accusations been made. Therefore I'm calling bunk on the whole accusation.
