Thank you Mr. Rogers for writing this article. I wish more reporters were willing to write from both perspectives. Mr. Esmay, I don't understand your comment. Are you saying that we need to go back to "innocent until proven guilty"? I feel as it stands now, men must prove their innocence, and then IF they do, their name is still mud. They have been "damaged" as if they were guilty, and yet the female's identity remains protected? To me that is an obvious gender bias. I have 4 boys and it scares the hell out of me to let them loose. I believe education and accountability for men AND women, boys AND girls is the solution. Why is it that if a woman is drinking she cannot consent to sex. If both of them were drinking, it is only the female that is not responsible for the actions of her body, the boy could be charged with rape. This is our Justice system?
