One of the cardinal rules of firearm safety: keep your finger out of the trigger guard until you're ready to shoot. I've heard this since I was 5 years old. I'm always disappointed when I see people disregarding this piece of gun safety and even more so in this case because it directly contradicts your position as an empowered, responsible, safe gun owner. If you're encouraging women to arm themselves, that's fantastic but PLEASE set a positive example so that the next generation of gun owners will be less likely to A.)look like amateurs/idiots at the shooting range and (more importantly) B.) Shoot themselves / someone else on accident.
