No such thing as bad publicity...
@Shandiell ...um "we regulars' I didn't realize I had to belong to a certain clique in order to patronize a bar. For somebody who appears to embrace diversity you certainly come off as small minded on the internet. If 'regular's like you don't have any 'authentic' bars to go to any more it's because of your self entitled attitude. anyways - The Palace is still a shit hole, it's dark, it smells, and worst of all the acoustics sucks. I'm not sure who or what you think has 'taken' this awful bar from you, but I assure you 'we' give it back glady.
I fully support Kettlehouse, but I would like to point out another option under Montana Law. They could stop charging for beer at their taprooms. Ever been out to Big Sky Brewery and had a free beer? Current law allows them produce as much beer as demanded by customers, the catch is that they cannot charge for beer at the tap room. Kettlehouse doesn't have to do all this loophole legalese, they just have to stop charging for beer. I know that would take a big chunk out of their revenue, so it's not an attractive business option, but just putting it out there that they could and continue as usual too.
