I believe that if we started with the members of our Tribal Government (Council) & took 20% of pay from all Tribal Employees who earn $100,000. 15% from Tribal Employees who earn $90,000. and 10% from Tribal Employees who earn $80,000. Also if we were to lessen our Legal staff (Attorneys) it would save alot of money I see no need for that much Legal Council if they can only assist on the Reservation? The rate of Salary that our Tribal Employees should be payed should be equal to that of Tribal members who are out in the Public workforce. Meaning that if a Paving Operator makes $75,000-$80,000. & if our Tribe had a Paving Company they should earn equal amounts. Our Tribe would have enough money to enable the Programs that they are using as a crutch to withhold money from us the Enrolled members.
