My personal feeling is that elections don't matter. For a long time now it seems to me that the fix is in. We have no rights, only wrongs. When nothing make sense, we have to realize we don't have enough information. Thousands are without their medicine and are suffering. There are wonderful, respectable people who are going to prison. Some of them are people I care about. We are stunned, heartbroken and very, very angry.
And this anger is bubbling up everywhere. Our children and grandparents are being harassed & molested at the airports like common criminals. The police beat up and arrest protestors while the subjects of their protest drink champagne and laugh. They can stripsearch you for any reason or no reason. Debtors prisons are making a comeback in 1/3 of our states. Rabid right-wingers have waged a war on our women. Are burkas coming next? A massive communications center is being built in Utah to spy on the American people. Soon there will be drones. Papers please? Are they ready? Are you ready?
Obama disappoints but Romney would be even worse and TPTB will never let Ron Paul in the door. For all of you whose civic duty is limited to name-calling and making jokes--go back to sleep! The REAL patriots have a lot of work to do, so get the hell out of the way!
