well certainly the dimwits back gays...wouldn't be a surprise to find out every democrat is gay.
Well certainly...you got your little piece and don't want anybody else to have one....
I have two ride/pack mules and two ATVs... I'll go wherever I well please using whichever I need
Trapping has been going on in North America far longer than we've been kown as a country. Were it not for trappers, much of the west would have been unkown back in the early 1800's. The Native Americans trapped for food & clothing and early settlers trapped for the same reasons as well as to make money. Today, modern trappers are sometimes used as management tools but mostly that is left to Government Trappers...oh yes folks Government Trappers do exist and employ the same methods and traps that you commonly see. Trapping has NEVER NOT been employed in every State of our Nation. I believe that EVERY STATE allows trapping. It is a time honored tradition that many folks still employ to make some extra money and to just be out on the land. As in every walk of life, there are some who give the rest a black eye. I just got mine from the pictures of this man's wolf posted all over the internet, and honestly wish he hadn't done that but I'm not going to beat this man up for his lawfull activities and much needed management of these wolves. He is not a barbarian, he is an outdoor sportsman who was proud of his ability to catch a wolf and he will make use of that animal for his own reasons.
Ok Matthew...I get it. Your good buds with George and he's obviously your hero.
I will allow that the on-line trapped wolf photo doesn't do service for legit trappers and hunters but the hate for wolves has been boiling over for a good while and many are very proud to do their part of ridding them from the landscape. Go ahead and brag your buddy up for his most excellent shooting skills as you describe them. Better to brag somebody else up when you haven't got anything of your own to be proud of. As for me, I'm content that I manage to hit what I shoot at at ethical ranges and always get the job done with one shot. Guess I'm not the "shoot the speck off the knats a _ _" that George is
Never mind that virtually every ethical hunter or hunting group says that attempting head shots is not the thing to do...Mr. Ochenski is the be all-end all hunter of hunters and has every right to take only head shots...I sure hope he does that for the next WOLF he sees. I for one would certainly admire him thereafter.
well Cj you have your opinion and have your right to it but a recent national poll still says most folks support hunters and hunting. Probably why it's legal in every State in our nation. Talk about the minority...you are it.
I have got more respect for animals in my little finger than you could ever hope to possess. Put your money where your mouth is Cj...lets have a $ figure you've spent to so called protecting amimals and match it against mine. My hunting & fishing licenses alone are probably more than you've ever spent, and every dime goes into management of wildlife...lets not even mention the untold thousands of $ in excise taxes I've paid that directly benifit wildlife. I've known hunters who risked their lives to save animals and myself have saved a deer stuck in a fence, an Antelope stuck in a roll of wire, a Beaver about to get hit on the highway, Turtles & snakes in danger crossing roads, I pulled out twin Fawns from a road killed Doe and gave them mouth to mouth to save thier as yet unborn lives....match it dollar for dollar...deed for deed...unless your all mouth and little action
Re: “Lake County attorney pans poaching cases, investigator”
Get these cases prosecuted and we don't care who the culprits are. If wildlife was poached, it was STOLEN from the public.
