I've lost a lot of weight and become much healthier eating quinoa, as opposed to white or basmati rice. They sell organic 3.5 lb containers of quinoa at CostCo for $8! This article was great and although I sympathize w/ quinoa producing countries not being able to sustain or afford their own yield, I say more people in America consume quinoa= greater demand = more production, as stated in article: Oregon and Colorado.
It'd be great if Ari would include some recipes. I make huge batches of quinoa w/ broccolli and garlic and onion and put in containers in fridge as a healthy meal / snack for week.
Also, putting Braggs on this stuff is amazing. I use it like I would rice. Delicious!
It's never easy to describe music in words. Ira always does a phenominal job. As a multi-genre music fan; I always appreciate his articles. By stealing his word-usage I can more easily explain some of the music I listen to, to certain 'purists.' Thanks for the excellent wiritng and I look forward to plagiarizing your talent for the 'greater good' of music exchange...
As a fan of Robert DeNiro, it's good to hear that he actually TRIES and acts in this movie, (as opposed to simply 'being there' in his last dozen + movies) but I wasn't aware of Chris Tucker's 'hair-obsessed mental patient cameo' and look forward to it. Ms. Laich summed up the movie nicely. I shall believe the hype, accordingly...
This guy is my new Missoula hero. He does radio, plays metal punk, listens to hip-hop, but most importantly: has the balls to do stand-up comedy. Amateur comedians can be a cringe-fest of bad puns and improperly told stories, but I'm curious to see what Missoula has to offer at The Union...
On a serious note, I like it when Ms Laich does book reviews. Her writing gets all 'literary' and takes a serious tone; one that is quite enjoyable. Cheers.

"This is the day Jesus came back to life, so the bar scene is pretty dead." - Molly Laich
I've never thought of this before, but wouldn't the good Lord expect us to eat drink and be merry?
I say the following with utter sincerity: WTF?
Also, I love me some M. Laich sentences.
