Please stop promoting this idea that joblessness, homelessness, etc. promote domestic violence. As fedup is suggesting, domestic violence (whether it is emotional or physical), is present in all socio-economic brackets. It only makes it easier for the abuser to be believed (and the abused to sound crazy), when they are a church deacon, have a Ph.D., are a respectable member of the community and have friends that admire them.
