We're totally fucked here. I never understood why our water was sold to Carlyle Group in the first place.
Reading about stories like this, make me think there's hope for Montana.
Brian Leland: patriot. Also, very funny.
I recently got to see the punk rock/ avante art/ total crowd participation/ madness that was Peelander Z. The Japanese duo played about 3 chords and had little in the way of what most music fans would label 'musical talent.'
This being said, it was one of the greatest shows this music fan has ever witnessed. It was super fun and all interactive. They handed out instruments like pots and pans. It was insanity.
Now I have never seen Bad Naked. His naked performance at The Ritz, (now The Badlander) and his subsequent LIFE BAN from venue: is legendary.
Personally, I'm very curious to see what Bad Naked brings this Friday. If it's anything like Peelander Z; it will be madness combined with fun. A spectacle with a jingle. After all, isn't that essentially the point?
This whole thing sounds ridiculous and I can't wait to witness it first hand!?
I wouldn't say that Chris La Tray is a bad writer here. After all, he's merely covering a two track record.
"Songs come in hard and fast - then leave" when coupled with "There's no this is what you should do" leaves the reader a bit in the dark.
Was Chris amazed at this release? Disappointed? Does he recommend fans of a particular genre to get this 45? What's the motivation for this effort? Where can you get it? You mean to tell me that out of two bands, (probably totaling like a dozen people) not one could be reached for a comment??
Chris' writing is great. I liked how he ended with "Just because you know more than three chords, doesn't mean you have to play them." Clever, but this article is missing vital info and seems - uncaring.
