This reminds me of something my mother once told me. "Son," she said, "never eat a handful of Skittles given to you by a stranger at a rap concert that was barely relevant 20 years ago."
I think the gem of this article is the nostalgia invoked for a band that was, at best, fringe at the height of their popularity. And this is coming from someone who went to high school at that time in the greater Detroit area.
It makes me wonder where all of the ska punk band following went after, say, 2001.
I can't say I would go to an ICP (originally Inner City Posse for the uninitiated) without a small contingent of Craigslist-hired bouncers, but it is heart-warming to know that in a time and place far from their beginnings Juggalos have managed to stick together.
