I had a show booked at the Hammer Haus when it got closed. I immediately sent a message to the ZACC Below to see about transferring it there. I got an auto-reply back that basically said, "don't call us, we'll call you." I don't really have a problem with how anybody chooses to run their own space, but so many promoters I know are so busy tha they need gentle reminding that you're still there and need an answer. So I tend to agree with the Kaimin that there are no legitimate all ages venues in Missoula.

The ZACC is a non profit community arts center on Missoula's Northside. The ZACC Below is a space in the center reserved, in part, for all-ages music, theater and events. We manage these happenings via a community team, one of whom must elect to sponsor your event and take responsibility for our space for that time. As such, your acceptance to play here is based on one of these individuals taking interest in and also being personally available on the date to help run your show. These individuals represent a diverse spread of tastes and the overall mission for the ZACC Below is specifically to provide a safe and positive environment for DIY, all ages events.
Upon sponsorship by a team member any details regarding the rental rate, deposit, etc. will be arranged between you and your sponsoring team member.
Events must end by 11pm with start time no earlier than 8 pm unless special arrangements are made. Doors may open at 7 pm.
The ZACC Below is alcohol and drug free.
We do not play recordings of or host live performances of any music licensed by ASCAP, BMI or SESAC.
We have a garage-grade 8 channel PA system with various vocal mics, stands and two monitors. If you require additional equipment please plan on bringing it.
