I witnessed the same event occur at a wildlife refuge in the past, of course the refuge is gone today and so is the wildlife. The destruction was quick and eminent, what a shame...On the bright side of life here in the Valley the wages will finally increase for the lower end of the pay scale employees and employers will no longer be able to use the excuse "we pay low wages and it's because of the way of life you are enjoying here." Kiss the way of life goodbye and say hello higher wages...I'm just surprised it took so long. Looks like these guy from Missoula will be making Membership at the "Bastards only Club" after all. You will find the Club at Google...

What was it Lee Enterprise was mentioning in the past? Oh ya, it had to do with the financial loss of income due to lower circulation of its newspapers, which less people are purchasing today because of the Internet and online availability and is the reason for the $1.5 million loss? Printisbig.com published the comment "Print plays a significant roll in the U.S. and World Wide economies. Despite the myth you may have heard, print is Big, print is Green, and print is her to Stay..." with a 6.8% increase of circulation this year. I wonder if the C.F.O. of Lee Enterprises manages his personal accounts as well as Lee's Corporate monetary assets? And they tell me I'm insane and incompetent, you don't see me flaking off $1.5 million dollars. On the other hand I would bet the farm that this loss was nothing but the subsidies paid by none other than the Tax Payer Dollar its self and In the Corporate World known as free money from the tax payer suckers...Nothing like being in the red for a $Million Plus and then giving the C.E.O a $500,000.00 bonus??? Have you received a raise from your employer this year or did s/he tell you the reason we haven't given you one is because your living her and earning less than the national average in exchange for the way of life. Which one is it? The pollution of the water ways, decreased air quality from pollution, increased forest fires and pollution due to global warming, etc or maybe all the above. These guys kill me with their rhetoric bull and if you complain or ask for a raise they just point you to the Greyhound bus station. I personally call them White Collar Criminals exploiting your way of life.

Stuck in the world of fossil fuel we are and just think were we would be today had we pursued clean green alternative fuels 40 yrs ago? The silicone chip has been around for many decades, although technology and industry could not leave the glass vacuum tube behind and decades passed before the realization of miniaturization caught on. The flying wire? Can you imagine packing your laptop over your shoulder with it as large as a house? Or the size of Best Buy? Using methane is a win win and although the cost of retrofitting may be huge the cost of raw fuel is the cheapest in town, readily available and only a flush away.

If the Republicans stick to their guns on this matter and after all is said and done do you have any idea how many of them would land up in prison? More than one or two...and yes, back in 1777, Thomas Jefferson helped pen a criminal code for the Commonwealth of Virginia, but did you know the very paper he penned on was made of Hemp? Jefferson, Washington, Franklin all grew Hemp and Franklin owned one of Americas first Hemp producing paper mills. Jefferson penned the Declaration of Independence on hemp paper and the United States Constitution was also penned on Hemp, so why are they not wanting to call on government to have these illegal documents destroyed? Then these's the thorny sexual assault issue and did I not read in the Missoulian that the Feds are investigating not 80 but 518 unresolved rape case in Missoula County over the past 4 yrs, Ouch! What's really going on in the Republican camp beside stone walling? The Republicans have all the answers, yet, are unwilling to share their rich wealth of knowledge with the rest of us thus letting the country fall off into the abyss i.e. you and your family losing everything for their own personal glory and satisfaction and then blaming it all on the President. When you find yourself and your family out on the street without a home or job just remember it was the Republicans who have the answers and did nothing to improve your quality of life except show you the street...

The Republicans are so confident that the health bill will be repealed and so far to date in Washington they are at it again for the 33rd time. I guess when the only thing the Republicans have to offer is the repeal of sb 423 here in Mt. there's no time to waste on more pressing issues here or in Washington. A lose lose situation for everyone so they then blame fault on the President for the dilemma Montana and the country is currently facing. The two wars, the collapse of the housing market and bank failures with a multi billion dollar bailout using tax dollars, recession, depression, loss of jobs, etc. Wait, President Obama was not in office when all of this occurred and it was George Bush at the Helm, however, they want me to believe the current administration is to blame for the debacle. The Republicans should take notes? I guess when failure is the only objective available to document it's just easier and safer to blame the President and his administration for the demise of wealth that has taken place in our country. These guys could give Hollywood a run for their money when it comes to fiction.
