Neither one of the shooters were diagnosed with a mental disorder. That doesn't mean they were rational or mentally stable by any means. It certainly says something about our society when it is easier for a person to get an assault rifle and go on a killing spree than it is to find solace in a friend, counselor, relative etc.. There must have been incidents leading up to these events. Had there been facilities or personal available to these people maybe these scenarios could have been avoided.
The republicans in this state have really done themselves and the citizens of Montana a great disservice. We should look to Michigan and Wisconsin to see the aftermath of a republican controlled state. Legislators gone wild pushing agendas counter to the will of their citizens. We are lucky to still have some checks and balances left in this state, even if certain candidates would have it other wise.
These legislators are intentionally tying up valuable time in congress. Time that could be better spent addressing issues more pertinent to Montana citizens. People are still losing their jobs, their homes, and trying to figure out how to pay for rising costs in a still mostly crippled economy. The disservice to the people of this state is reprehensible and anyone attempting to justify this lack of responsibility only serves to add to the snowballing dysfunction certain members of congress call legislating.
As a representative of the Dirty Corner Band, I'm sorry to inform you that the information listed is incorrect. The Dirty Corner Band had been playing Thursday eves during the summer on the back lawn of the Symes. It was a wonderful little event and we as a band enjoyed the intimacy of the venue and the support of our very special local audience as well as the guests at the hotel. We will be performing as guests of the Hotel and the Hot Springs Artist Society on Dec. 28th and again on Jan. 29th., please feel free to join us. It's a great time and we will be rockin. Also the photo displayed is not our band. It's another Hot Springs band , but not us. If you would like to see the real thing join us at the Symes, and help us blow out last years cobwebs to make room for the exciting events of the New Year. Peace Greg Karlson and the DCB.
It's time for Muir to get a new job. When the Police start arresting sick people and legitimate business owners it's time to rethink protect and serve. I'm glad Muir, Van Valkenburg, and the rest of their cronies are getting a good chuckle out of destroying the lives of citizens they were hired to protect.
I certainly hope that this doesn't get buried at election time. Some of us are still well enough to make it to the polls. The original law may have been flawed but the transgressions were created by to much regulation of who could grow and how much. With less regulation the giant grows would have had more competition and less profit. Now everything will go into the black market. How does this legislation help the people of Montana?
