Unfortunately, the trapper also makes pet owners unwillingly confront life and death. I can't remember killing someone's family pet simply for my own survival.
Seeley Lake would greatly benefit by adding dog-friendly ski trails to the existing network. I'm not expecting groomed trails, but rather primitive ungroomed trails that would be packed by skiers. I'm an avid xc skier, but part of the reason I ski is to get the dogs out for some exercise. I travel the state a lot in winter to visit new ski places, but Seeley has been off our radar because of the lack of dog-friendly trails.
