There are many tests showing that roof top wind turbines do not make a lot of power, and the closing sentence really makes me suspect that this turbine will produce anything, being surrounded by tall pines. I install wind turbines for a living, at residences, schools, and farms, and installations such as what is being proposed will in all likelihood convince the town and the owner that wind does not work. I argue that wind does work, when sited properly and exposed to strong, consistent, and non-turbulent wind, an environment, it sounds like, this turbine will not be exposed to. TO THE TOWN OF LOWER RATTLESNAKE, please do not conclude that wind does not work when this project proves otherwise, there are basic rules to be followed to have a successful wind project, none of which seem to be adhered to for this resident.
