The military-industrial complex has bought and paid for the Congress, especially the chicken-hawks, and convinced the weak-minded that wars are good for our economy and it is our responsibility to provide military protection around the globe. Military expenditures have been strategically spread into every Congressional district so any talk about austerity rallies the Congressmen to protect those jobs in their districts. If the military was scaled back to reality, with no 3-billion dollar carriers or billion-dollar bombers the military leaders don't want, the monies saved could eliminate the national debt and create useful industries for the future of our country. So, please stop this senseless babbling about the sacred military budget! A 50% cut would still give the military-industrial complex twice what this country actually needs to be safe. Maybe our frugal-minded allies would begin paying for their own protection and defense instead of gladly letting the American people pay for it for them.
Precious is vulgar, crude, obscene, and totally un-entertaining. The mumbling ghetto talk is difficult to understand and hardly worth the effort. This is a black cross-over film that Oprah bankrolled and is trying to recover her $$ from a lousy film by a first-time and last-time director. Watching Fox news is more entertaining.
