This will never end till we end Prohibition all together. Cops dopnt want o police medical marijuana, they hate marijuana its in theri blood to hate it. So until we change the laws so cops wont have to choose whom to arrest with marijuana nothing will change. The bigger point here is that when the swat team come to your home for your little bag of pot, they wont be so nice as they were at a nursing home. They will bust in at 3am, kill all your pets and if you even think your going to protect your family from men breaking in the door at 3am you too will be shot dead. Once they destroy your home over a seed they will leave with no regard for what they have just done to you and your family.
Keep in mind this happens daily around this nation and the majority of the time they find nothing to small small amounts all because we have a war against a plant, real smart! Didn't we go through prohibition once before and found out it caused crime and corruption and violence? Yes and we ended it soon after realizing that we made Al Capone and the violence that followed! Once we ended it Al Capone was arrested for Taxes because alcohol was now legal he lost everything and was sent to jail because of it.
But again it took 8 years for us to figure out prohibition doesnt work, gee its bee 73yrs for marijuana prohibition, the cartels are killing thousands a year and we have no control over drugs, they are better quality and cheaper prices, they are in our schools and our youth are blasted with drugs everyday. You think regulation like we do with alcohol would help stop the teen dealers from selling to our kids in school, they are not selling beer and tobacco in schools but you can find any illegal drug you want and for a cheap price too all before you leave school for the day!
This madness has to stop, we have to stop arresting our citizens turning them into criminals and destroying any hope for an better life, taking kids away from parents and locking up everyday citizens that have been turned into criminals due to marijuana prohibition, it wrong and we need to stop it today. We wont fix anything till we fix this issue, you want green fuels, well end prohibition, Hemp could run every car cheaply and greenly, produce food to feed the starving, produce cleaner and cheaper paper and save our trees, produce cloths that are cheaper and last longer and with less chemicals than cotton, so not only the medical the logical and the practical we could change so many other issues just by ending this failed policy of arresting marijuana consumers!
As for this raid in MT, how can these police that pulled this off even look themselves in the mirror? How could they even think that they were doing good by raiding a nursing home? Its just sad they couldnt have investigated more before they sent guys with assault rifles and flak vests to terrify the nursing home residents? I hope they feel like big men pulling guns on old bed ridden grannies over some pot!
