Harris Sherman, undersecretary for natural resources and the environment, spoke for the Forest Service and therefore Tom Tidwell when he commented on Senator Tester's bill. As the article pointed out the Forest Service's position on Tester's bill is it is unsustainable and unaffordable and Senator Tester did not address any of the Forest Service's concern's when he proposed changes in his bill. Great article.
Great Column George. If the Fish and Wildlife Service follows through and designates enough critical habitat for bull rout we can finally move forward on recovery this fish and removing it from the endangered species list. I look forward to the day when a 20 lb. bull trout swims up the Clark Fork River in Missoula, past the former Mill Town Dam and up the Blackfoot to spawn near Lincoln.
