Hate to say it - (I truly do) but check out the Missoulian article for comments by the head of this opposition movement - Dallas Erickson - he claims that he's not been legally able to sign on 90% of the petitions he's initiated in Montana.....and threatens to sue the city if he doesn't get his way.
So, Missoulians get to spend thousands of dollars on an election demanded by a Ravalli County resident? And then waste more money on a soap box tirade on his brand of morality? Go Jim Nugent! Kick his polyester clad ass!!
Chick - You're expecting to be ignored and/or picked on. Funny thing is, people like you are all for exclusionary tactics, controlling with fear and hate and descrimination....tell me, how does it feel?
squishes and kisses from your evil, liberal neighbor xxooxx
now, get off my lawn.
Thank you Jessica!! I love the irony of Chick's "diatribe" accusation!!
I'm so glad this ordinance was proposed. Not merely for the push to equality, because I expect that in my city and my country - I'm glad because it flicked on the light and I saw all of the hateful groups and individuals before they skittered under the fridge. I had no idea - and, uh, how can you squish 'em if you don't know they're there?
She said she would not resign - I'm thinking that's not her decision to make. It's the decision of the people she represents. She doesn't realize that choice is a personal discussion with oneself - the decision to stick that key in the ignition when she knew she had been drinking. There was her only true "choice".
meanwhile, all of you dipshits turn up your stereo when the woman next door is being thrown around like a rag doll. everyone cares "so much" but we can't house all of the abused women and children in Missoula. if we're so superior as a species, if we are the protectors, why? simply, why?
