ummm... I'm from the Flathead and I have had the unfortuante opportunity to listen to Stokes' show more than once. In response to his supporters who say he welcomed our civil rights, like "freedom of speech," he also promoted legislation that would perpetuate the shredding of civil rights for our LGBTQQI communitiy and contributed to the hatred of liberals, Democrats, gays, transgenders, environmentalists, etc. by the right wing factions of Flathead County. While I appreciate everyone's right to say what they want to say, the fact is, Stokes helped us solve nothing. He spewed hate and only further polarized our community. For example, on Earth Day, Stokes lit a green swastica on fire that was supposed to represent environmentalists. What kind of message is this sending to the community other than violence and hatred? While he may have supported organic farming, he certainly did not support the people who promoted it; he is and was ridiculous. I am glad to seem him gone.
