How a person responds to others peaceably wearing firearms is a Rorschach test of sorts. The person who is intimidated by peaceable people wearing firearms likely doesn't trust these same people to vote correctly or wisely spend the money they earn, notwithstanding the observer's passing claim to support the Second Amendment. The pejorative language used also tells something of the observer's attitude. To characterize a person with a holstered firearm as "brandishing" says more about the writer than it does about the several hundred people attending, none of whom removed a firearm from their holster and waved it around recklessly. But, hey. This is America where we have freedom of association. If you're not comfortable in that crowd, deal with it or don't go there. And, lighten up on the dissing.
