Re: “Blowout

What did the Democrats expect, after voting to sell off Missoula's water system (originally owned by Anaconda) to the Neocons at Carlisle Group? Yes, Kavulla is a sworn enemy of public power and other public services, and a total climate change denier. But most of the Democrats, led by Bullock and Tester, are in the same camp, supporting Keystone XL and more coal "development." Surprise, surprise. Thanks, Indy, for getting rid of Ochenski who also pointed out these things.

Re: “Tester has his hands full

Lots of content but no analysis. This is why "good liberals" always lose. First, they suppress or fire the people who are telling them what they're doing wrong - like Ochenski. Then, they take money and advice from the people who want them to lose.

It's the New Indy! Fire your best reporters and anyone else who offends the Democrat Machine.

Until you get rid of the idiot that fired George, no one else is going to read or write for you.

Re: “Fighting for Montanans?

You should get a Pulitzer or Right Livelihood Award, or something, George. You're the best truth-teller in Montana, in my book. (Unfortunately, it's not a very big one.)

Re: “University of Montana fears enrollment dip

Back in the days when UM was better-known for Leslie Fiedler, its radical counter-culture, Rhodes Scholars, and others who excelled in their later political and professional lives, they had a very poor football team. Some of us warned that emphasizing sports like football could only harm the greater intellectual and cultural community.
But never fear. The Business School and media producers will save the day. So, why are they spending all that money on "damage control," hiring the same firm which "handled" the scandal at Penn State? It looks like MPC wasn't all that Pennsylvanians stole from us.

Re: “Are Bitterroot conservatives wearing sheep's clothing?

"The most compelling evidence yet is the presence of three of the candidates' signatures on an online Freedom and Liberty Tea Party petition demanding a recall of Democratic Sen. Max Baucus."
Well, talk about the pot calling the kettle black. Baucus is the absolute King of Dino's. He's never supported a single traditional Democratic initiative, like Single Payer Healthcare, protecting wilderness, or opposing the banksters and insurance monopolies, who own him. I would seriously consider becoming active in the Democratic Party again whenever they get rid of Baucus. With the lack of health care for poor folk like me, he might outlive me, even though he's several years older. The Baucus family have always been Republicans of the corporate kind, don't you know?
