Humane Society Of Western Montana's Spay/Neuter Clinic
Susan Peacock demonstrates how to apply a blue ink on an incision after a spaying. While ear clipping used to be the preferred method, vets now use the permanent ink to tattoo the skin so if a feral cat is captured again they will know not to perform another surgery.Image credit: CATHRINE L.
