It is disheartening to read a comment as incoherent as the one posted by 'We caught them' and then to consider that they are home-schooling their children. If they can't articulate a coherent thought, what kind of education are their unfortunate kids receiving?
Voting for Rob Quist for Montana's Representative in Washington is without a doubt the most important vote we are going to be able to make until 2020!
Koch Brothers' cartel is pouring millions of dollars into Montana and delivering scathing negative advertising against Rob.
Greg Gianforte isn't the right guy to fight for Montana in the House. He would be just one of the boy's rubber stamping the Republican agenda, kowtowing to Grover Norquist and his Republican puppets... all joining Trump and his gang of Kleptocracyites ripping off the American taxpayers.
Rob Quist is the only guy out there running who respects all Montanan's and we need a fresh voice with human experience to stand up for all of us, not just a few of us!
I have noticed as of late that all the so called experts don't use the word "man made" climate change anymore. Have they finally woken up to the fact that it is natural climate change and that it has been happening since the earth started supporting life, who know how long ago. Can you imagine the climate change needed to melt the huge glaciers in Montana 12,000 years ago?? No man around to cause the warming then.
Don't you mean three candidates? Last time I checked there are three people running for this seat. Mark Wicks is the Libertarian candidate and will appear on the ballot along side Quist and Gianforte. I'm not sure why the Indy omitted this information from this article, I'm sure it was an inadvertent oversight.
"Campaigns were conducted by simply the opening of a barrel,
and sowing the state from one end to the other with
corporation moneythe largest barrel winning in the end.
This extravagant campaigning prevented the election of any
but the wealthy or those supported by special interests."
E.H. McDowell, Terry Tribune (February 1910)
opening of a barrel and sowing in 1910! Hey it's happening in 2017 voters being offered the strangest things by smooth (as in greasy) operators. These Eastern money-bags are going to get into big trouble with TOP COPP. Cases in point: Last week, I got an impressive offer to buy a worthless website that I've had for years. Then two days later someone on the phone wanted to buy a piece of property that I sold years ago.
My vote is not for sale. Rob Quist is the man I want to represent me in Congress.
So which is the lesser of two evils? Vote your conscience and learn to live with it.
Who ever is logging the likes and dislikes is crooked. Ice pressed like on caught them post and it kicks it back.
Essmann is selfish, putting partisanship ahead of the finances of Taxpayers!
Here's a solution - everyone go public with their story so the whole world knows these cases wouldn't exist if the police weren't soft on pedos and the courts weren't turning a blind eye and a deaf ear so they don't slam one of their own too hard. Lawyers protecting lawyers for money.
Pedophiles are vile creatures. Sub human.
Diseases. Nothing more.
Schools cheat and the Feds should raid every school one by one nationwide and arrest people. Feds should hold random checks with tests and then the truth will come out. Another way would be to hold back federal funding until people come forward that are willing tobtestify and roll over everyone else.
Interesting and I believe this is planned....keep the people playing while you destroy the country....the "DUMBING DOWN OF AMERICA!" A country of buffoons....
I love the variety of events & music at Imagine Nation.
Also: Fans of Brazilian music (and tunes of other areas of the region) may also want to head to the second night of Jazzoula, Missoula's Community Jazz Festival coming up April 17-21.
Canta Brasil, featuring Magda Chaney vocals, Antonio (or Pedro?) percussion, David Horgan guitar and more.... will perform Tuesday April 18 around 8:00pm at Jazzoula. (Times are approximate! Music starts 6:30pm. Doors open at 6 pm for food & drink.) Tickets at Rockin Rudys 542-0077 or at the door, St Anthony Parish Center on Woodford at Tremont. 217 Tremont in that great big hall that becomes a nightclub.
Full bar & food available. $10 students/seniors. $12 public. Full-festival 5-night pass is only $30/$25.
What's almost as sad as how bad of a deal this was for taxpayers is how little the local press has covered it. I wrote about it in November on my site, pointing out that the city paid $3 million for this private business, and when they expect it to lose money.
Why will it lose money?
Simple - the city will eliminate the compost bagging portion of the business, as well as the 50-60% of revenues that created for the business.
Why is the city getting into this business anyways?
They can't even fix our roads.
Perhaps if they would have spent that $3 million on our roads that would not be the case, but they chose to buy a private business.
This at a time when your taxes have gone up 95% over the past 12 years.
Why did the City Council sign-off on this?
And why can't the city get it's ducks all in a row? November to April is 6 months. That's six months that they had to get this business up and going, but they can't even get a cash register?
I'll remind you that none of this is new.
When the city recently voted on the budget for the new $42 million parks complex they didn't even allocate enough money to run the place.
That's your city government in action, folks.
Sick of it? Me too. It's time for a change.
I love Rob Quist's music, have for a long time. Politically, he sounds a lot like Amanda Curtis. He has to sing from the Democratic songbook, I doubt that will resonate with Montanans.
Fixed. My wife and I were told by the principal herself they have to as the answer as to why our child comes home with completed work from school that she cannot do at home when we homeschool quiz her ourselves.
We took our child put of public school because they were doing the work for our child.
Don't believe any investigation that would turn out a result that would prove negligence on behalf of the school system or even the court system because it would open the doors for truth. The lawsuits. Then criminal prosecutions. God on my knows how many kids would have to be left back and do grades over.
Do you people actually believe their lies?
Cover ups is all it is. Poor woman told the truth about a majority crooked liars and the result? Like they would actually admit anything?
We know the truth because we caught them ourselves.
Did you know the Montana Democratic Party had $143,000 cash on hand at the beginning of March?
Well...why aren't they giving any of that to Quist?
Here's another one - the Montana Democratic Party transferred $25,000 to the DNC in February, just weeks before they knew they'd be conducting a special election campaign.
Why'd they do that?
Why are we giving money to the DNC and what is it being used for?
Am I the only one that feels that money should be left in Montana for Montana politicians to use?

Thank you for writing this article, Lucia. The self-entitlement of so many dog owners is appalling.
Elsie Arntzen is more interested in seeing her name in lights than she is making sure that the students of this State receive the best possible education... enough of the hyperbole and get on with being a good steward of OPI. No more nonsense!
Family Court lies by saying they're a court of equity and not a court of law. Supreme court says otherwise.
In most cases, landlords are simply middle class persons that have foregone faraway vacations, frequent dinners out, expensive clothes, new cars and other luxuries in order to save money to invest for retirement and a bit of security. Many aren't comfortable with the swings of the stock market or don't have government pensions that ARE "guaranteed by the power of the state". It has also become an increasingly difficult investment, as property taxes have increased dramatically in the past decade. Also, one does not have the privilege in the choice of renters as one has to be careful not to discriminate which often necessitates paying a property manager to help properly navigate things. Take care all.
