Re: “It's all words

Great commentary, Dan. Because of people like Strandberg, I fear for us all.

Re: “Home alone

Low Pay.
Too many government regulations.
The need for more staff.
The hassle all this creates.

With those kinds of problems it's no surprise we have this mess.

What will be surprising is if we can get out of it. We know the GOP-controlled legislature won't pass Bullock's Early Edge, let along an expanded program.

So this problem will persist. It's just another reason why so many families, and thus businesses, choose not to come to Montana.

We're backwards.

Re: “It's all words

Howard Stern, huh?

I guess if I was a member of the People's Power League I'd be upset that Trump is going to win Montana as well.

I wonder what Miles Romney would have thought back in the 1910s. Remember, he railed against the same kind of corruption in the Democratic Party that we see today, left the Party because of it.

The answer to Mr. Strandberg's question. Howard Stern

Everyone knows that the first sign old-timers disease is a loss of short-term memory and repetition of what was just said because the old-timer didn't remember having just said it.

Re: “It's all words

Nice article, Dan. You boiled it down to the basics.

Re: “It's all words

The author of this article is completely discredited by failing to acknowledge the utter fraudulence of the Democrat candidate who admittedly stole her party's nomination - no, it's not a conspiracy theory - and who doesn't care that we all know it. This kind of half baked journalism is what I've learned to expect from biased social justice reporters who live in some fantasy world of imagined sleights and magic dragons.

Re: “Community radio

175 feet of coax is keeping a LPFM off the air. So close, but so far away. I have about 200 feet of 7/8 coax I keep kicking and cussing at. If I was closer to Missoula, I would donate it to the cause.

Re: “It's all words

I love the thinking of the media.

Let's recount the number of times the media has said Trump is done:

"They're bringing drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists..."
"I like war heroes that aren't captured."
"Blood coming out of her...wherever."
"How stupid are the people of Iowa."
"Total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the country."

And that was just last year.

This year we've had the Cruz JFK angle, the Khan family, and now the weight-gaining former Miss America.

I can't wait to see what the media says will sink Trump next.

Re: “Comeback trail

What exactly does "'revamped and retooled' her campaign accordingly." mean?

We know money won't allow her to win - she raised $38,000 to Bob Lake's $26,000 in the 2012 race.

This year she has about $2,300 in the bank, according to her last report. Lake has $2,900.

Besides a lot of radio ads and mailers, I don't see what Gutsche is doing with that money.

So...what's the strategy to win this year? I saw more Gutsche signs during the primary than I do now.

I'm not feeling confident of a win here. With lower turnout because of no Bernie on the ticket, gosh, I'll be surprised if Dems wins this.

Re: “Eye of the tiger

My dad was a medic for these heroes. He spoke of them in reverent respect, telling us often of their suffering and his respect for them.

Re: “Shush up already

It doesn't seem to matter where you are, the new people are exceptionally loud nowadays. They seem to like to form long lines and wait for things while they are being loud as well....I don't get it?
