Ditto, MTBison. I have used this area for years and always felt someone should have gone to jail for what they did up there....
I'm hopeful the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation will be asked to assist in the planning and implementation of restoration plans. They are the experts when it comes to wildlife habitat.
Way to go Jeff
Some of this land will need of lot of rest and rehab. The Gold Creek area in particular consists some of the ugliest clear-cuts imaginable, and is now chock full of weeds. What Plum Creek did in there was nothing less criminal. It was once excellent habitat. Hopefully, one day, it could be again.
Hooray for Joe...our favorite tap tender at our favorite brewery. The dude is a mensch!
