And then we have head lice in schools. What else is in store for the "welcoming" Garden City?
Serious hit to business. At least it didn't turn into a Chipotle...yet.
This may have the makings of another 1973 Wounded Knee affair.
I heard today that the protesters in North Dakota chained themselves to the construction equipment. That's the beginning of the end - the feds or the state or law enforcement will move in.
I figured the they'd wait a bit longer, until the media forgot about this story. I just don't see it turning out like it did in '96 with the Kootenai. That tribe was able to win, I don't see those at Standing Rock winning.
What is the plan to win?
Greg's right. You have to build a party - a movement - from the ground up, not the top down. That's been the failing of the Greens so far : little of no ground game. OTH, the reactionaries had a long range strategic plan to take over the repuglikan party, starting in the late 70s or early 80s by stealthily getting themselves installed on local school boards, and then working their way up from there.
We know neither Stein nor Johnson will be in the debates...unless they poll 15%. I don't see that happening.
I also don't see the MT Green Party going anywhere. Are you going to run candidates in Missoula, for the legislature in 2018, say? How are they going to win against Democrats?
They're not. So there'll be no Green Party members in any elected offices, and because of that the party will fade to obscurity.
Or did you have another idea of what might happen?
The plane is merely an opening salvo to a much harder blow. Dig deeper, Indy, peel the onion. There are many layers here.
