It seems this reviewer has a chip on his shoulder or something.

Secret Powers ROCKS! Keep'm coming.
re: the badlander show, i was having a tough time transitioning from levitra to ageless male. i typically don't mind if my band sucks. those pabst tallboys you bought us after our set helped out alot. now we're back on track!
That's Bryan's other blurb about Regression, this time for the blog Weird Missoula. This show is gonna rule!
i love andre but 3 songs was not worth 26 bucks. i was pretty dissapointed
Hey, it's your opinion. But you still should have an ear cut off.
They just put out a split ep under my label, Go Records! check it out, goxrecords.blogspot.com goxrecords.bigcartel.com
She's wonderful alright. I wish, in my ever-slightly-critical heart, that she would just "soar" once in awhile, though--you know?!? Go ahead and just h-a-n-g on one of those final notes in a line and let her voice just carry us. She might not be "that kind" of singer, but ... I wish she were. There's a distinct difference between those who sing and those who just speak lyrics--I think. If you listen to Joan Osborne, say, she sings. (Man, does she sing.) Anyway, I hope as this young woman matures, she pushes the limits of her pipes a bit--and becomes even better: sweeter and more "compelling" as a vocalist.
Get out to see Charlie, you are in for a treat!
It was a GREAT show! Here is a video of Richie and his bassist performing Opium at the release party. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sZnt41DNyJc
I said you would go and have fun. I never said anything about the Pixies. But I know in twenty years people will still talk about the Pixies, not GLO.
What's the second worst review you've ever read?
This is one of the worst band reviews I have ever read. I had never heard of Ghostland Observatory before I went to their concert, but I went because I wanted a weekend out of town and a friend promised me I would not be disappointed. Not only was their crowd interaction fantastic, but the energy in the venue was consistently high throughout the entire show. I don't normally dance, but I danced the whole evening, I was entranced through the whole performance, and three days later I still find myself rehashing the whole night.
After the show I stopped and bought their CD, and that as well has been on continuous play since I got back home. I saw the Pixies perform in Edmonton about three weeks ago, they are my absolute favorite band, and I have to say that the concert Ghostland put on trumped the Pixies concert hands down. Their music is completely different I agree, but when I go see a band perform, I am not there just to hear the songs, I am there to see the performance. Of course I want them to sound good, but I also want them to address the crowd, acknowledge that their fans are there, and seem excited to be playing for your us. Ghostland did all of these things, and not once did I see a lack of passion for what they were doing.
This IS a band I listen to, going to the show was nothing about feeling cool and happening. I danced like a moron for three hours and I just didn't care. When I reference this show in conversations, it has nothing to do with trying to sound hip or happening, its because this is one of the best performances I have seen in a long time, and I most definitely appreciate feeling like my 25$ was well spent. I can also guarantee that if they come back I'll be there.
So, should we go?
So where can I purchase tickets? Can't find them anywhere online...
email me please!!! email@example.com PLEASEEEEEEEE I'll be very grateful :)
Death Metal is not my favorite sub-genre, but Amon Amarth is definately worth a listen and you can request them here...
Sweet! We are coming North to Portland in July, would love to make our way to Missoulla on our tour, hope we can link with some good heads and have some fun. Played up that way with an old band at the Top Hat, love my mountain folks.
