Re: “Blue Bison Grill

This is probably the most underrated restaurants downtown. The owner is super nice and I like that she buys local, grass fed beef and bison and has good gluten free and vegetarian options. It's definitely comfort food, so we are regulars in the cold months but not so much in the summer. I get massive cravings for the huckleberry chicken sandwich and the bella bison sandwich. She does seem to be hampered by catering to the Stockman's crowd, you know the lawyers having a rough day in bad need of a drink, the bartenders' friends, and the 21 year old clubbers. She's had to switch to heavier bar food than how she started. I love the food and I love how hard the owner is willing to work. She really deserves to do well.

Re: “Cafe Courier

I can honestly say that this service is TERRIBLE! The first time I ordered from these guys I ordered from Red Robin and I ordered 5 campfire sauces, and they didn't bring any of them! So then it took them like an hour and a half to bring me my sauce which is RIDICLOUS. So I decided to give them a second chance, and low and behold they messed up my order again! I asked for a CHICKEN WHISKEY BBQ BURGER and they brought me a hamburger. In all honestly its not that hard to take an order from point A to point B. I honestly would really suggest to just drive there yourself.

Re: “Goldbug Hot Springs

Gold bug IS the gem of the northwest! I've hiked goldbug in September2013, February2014 & June2014. I've done think hike in all weather. It's so much fun! This hike has some easy points & some tough points. Of course the view from the top is the SPECTACULAR!!! Such an experience!

Re: “The Badlander

This place is a joke! Badlander sucks. You can't buy a drink becaause the bartender is too busy handing out free "smurfs piss" to his buddies with a bottle set aside for them

Re: “New Hong Kong Chef

I've had the pleasure of dining here several times and have always enjoyed my meals. My only regret is that I didn't discover it sooner. Their recipes are a little different than what you might expect but they're always delicious. And regarding the staff... they couldn't be friendlier.

Re: “Lolo Pass

Great spring skiing on March 16. Even though a lot of snow has melted in the last week or so, it was still as deep as I've ever seen it up there. South faces skied well in the morning, and northern aspects softened up nicely after lunch.

Re: “New Hong Kong Chef

Horrible service, rude management and staff, mediocre American style pseudo Chinese. Their sauces are mostly flavorless with sugar. Many better asian options in Missoula!

Re: “Blue Bison Grill

Easily the best restaurant in Missoula (quite possibly in the whole state). Whether you are looking for some high-quality fried food, a juicy burger, or something a little different this place has it all. The owner cooks everything herself and can tell you every ingredient including what is in every sauce. For instance the cheese sauce on one of her burgers is a homemade white-wine and pepperjack sauce, no bagged nacho cheese bullshit here. If you have any food allergies this is a great place to go where you can easily have all your needs met by this wonderful woman.

Re: “Viva Mexico

Looks like an honest "real experience" by the previous poster. 95% of the comments made on other sites appear to be done by the owner, or recruited comments by friends. Guess it's time to check it out. Will follow-up after.

Re: “Charlie B's

too dark too small, in the morning the owner is only interested in counting his money, what a scrooge, at night in the alley is a drug and dope party the police should be called for drinking outside and all the drunks, go inside old bearded men, what a let down.

Re: “Old Flynn Ranch

Christmas Tea at The Old Flynn Ranch,Missoula Montana was one of the big highlights for our family. In the hustle and bustle of people working with all different schedule and being unable to get together, it was a great fortunate that we were able to book the tea table, with the majority of my daughters attending. What a great drive up to this beautiful old brick architectural home. Upon entering, it was like stepping back into Victorian times. The room was very cozy, with the heat from the old belly stove , the elegant tea service on the beautiful embroidered table cloths, the elaborate real Christmas tree resting peacefully in the beautiful bay window, ornate portraits of the original owners hanging elegantly over the piano, the pleasant conversations from people sitting at the other tables. It brought a flood of conversations between my daughters and I, mainly how much similar the home reminded me so much of the sandstone home I lived in Scotland. The Tea was simply delicious, along with wonderful decorated sandwiches, oeurduves and delightful desserts. The hostess were always making sure our tea pot was kept filled. The lady of the house Maureen was so kind to let us know some history of the place, n permitting us to see the elegant rooms upstairs. It was one of the best relaxing nights that my daughters and I had. And the cost just a mere $10. The best! A big "THANK YOU" to all the family for opening this ornate home to the public. We hope to be back next year.!
