just had chicken there, more like a pigion and over cooked
Great staff. Good food. Solid music.
if you enjoy a bunch of drunk, foul mouthed guys that like to beat their woman up then this is the place to come! And the owners are so desperate for customers they let it happen. So sad! The only people that hang out there are a bunch of loosers!
Best burger in town. Pair it with a glass of wine with a table in front of the fireplace and you have the best spot in Missoula.
FANTASTIC & AUTHENTIC!!! Fabulous food and great service every time!!! Food is wonderfully authentic and the portions will leave very little room for dessert - we always have to bring home at least one doggy bag! Warm and Welcoming Environment! One of our favorite restaurants in Missoula!
WORST BAR IN TOWN! WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE EVER.
Wonderful food and amazing customer service. I love the soup on a cold winter day! You can tell it was never near a can. Always fresh and delicious.
Cafe Courier has been under new management for over a year now and I can tell you first hand that my family has seen a complete 180 degree difference in the quality of service. Cheers to the new guys running the show, its been a tremendous improvement!
Winter hours: Grill: Noon until 8 weeknights: Noon until 9 Fri and Saturday. Call for cabins 406-273-6264 after 12 noon Tue thru Sun.
This is probably the most underrated restaurants downtown. The owner is super nice and I like that she buys local, grass fed beef and bison and has good gluten free and vegetarian options. It's definitely comfort food, so we are regulars in the cold months but not so much in the summer. I get massive cravings for the huckleberry chicken sandwich and the bella bison sandwich. She does seem to be hampered by catering to the Stockman's crowd, you know the lawyers having a rough day in bad need of a drink, the bartenders' friends, and the 21 year old clubbers. She's had to switch to heavier bar food than how she started. I love the food and I love how hard the owner is willing to work. She really deserves to do well.
I can honestly say that this service is TERRIBLE! The first time I ordered from these guys I ordered from Red Robin and I ordered 5 campfire sauces, and they didn't bring any of them! So then it took them like an hour and a half to bring me my sauce which is RIDICLOUS. So I decided to give them a second chance, and low and behold they messed up my order again! I asked for a CHICKEN WHISKEY BBQ BURGER and they brought me a hamburger. In all honestly its not that hard to take an order from point A to point B. I honestly would really suggest to just drive there yourself.
You denied a Veteran and her service dog service, WTF is wrong with you people!
I've had the pleasure of dining here several times and have always enjoyed my meals. My only regret is that I didn't discover it sooner. Their recipes are a little different than what you might expect but they're always delicious. And regarding the staff... they couldn't be friendlier.
Horrible service, rude management and staff, mediocre American style pseudo Chinese. Their sauces are mostly flavorless with sugar. Many better asian options in Missoula!
Easily the best restaurant in Missoula (quite possibly in the whole state). Whether you are looking for some high-quality fried food, a juicy burger, or something a little different this place has it all. The owner cooks everything herself and can tell you every ingredient including what is in every sauce. For instance the cheese sauce on one of her burgers is a homemade white-wine and pepperjack sauce, no bagged nacho cheese bullshit here. If you have any food allergies this is a great place to go where you can easily have all your needs met by this wonderful woman.
Best bakery in Missoula, outstanding selections, nice personnel, everything about it is first class!!
Looks like an honest "real experience" by the previous poster. 95% of the comments made on other sites appear to be done by the owner, or recruited comments by friends. Guess it's time to check it out. Will follow-up after.
too dark too small, in the morning the owner is only interested in counting his money, what a scrooge, at night in the alley is a drug and dope party the police should be called for drinking outside and all the drunks, go inside old bearded men, what a let down.
Winter hours: Weekdays Noon till 10:00 Grill closes at 9: Weekends Noon till 2 am.
Book a cabin early they go fast and the bands are every Saturday night at 9.
