Monte Dolack’s work has for decades dotted local homes, businesses, and even beer bottle labels. But Dolack is increasingly staking out an international presence. Earlier this year, the United Nations selected 24 Dolack pieces to display in a special exhibit as part of a series of events in Geneva, Switzerland, commemorating the UN’s “Year of Forests.” The UN’s endorsement provides yet another testament to the fact that Dolack is still Missoula’s most popular artist.
